(Note: this will only apply to schools doing one attendance mark per day {i.e. Home room attendance}.)
For schools not showing attendance, Renweb pulls from the transcript or report card level of the database which means the attendance setup is critical. This is particularly true for schools who do not mark attendance for present students. Some schools leave the attendance cell blank if the student is present. The blanks must be converted with “create daily attendance”.
1. Check that dynamic attendance is checked in the attendance setup.
2. Make sure that the method of attendance taken is selected as HOMEROOM in Renweb setup under “grade level” for each grade.
3. Make sure that “create daily attendance” is run manually periodically or setup a script to run this. This is necessary to convert blank attendance cells into “P” for present.
